about the role
The newly created role of Head of Marketing will have full autonomy to define, drive and deliver the GRNDHOUSE brand strategy and marketing output. The role will require a highly skilled, innovative marketeer to deliver strategic and creative excellence along the entire marketing funnel.
This role will be responsible for both brand and product marketing across a broad marketing mix. Working on developing and establishing our brands - raising awareness, appeal and spontaneous consideration. Alongside executing marketing activities embedded in data focussing on conversion and retention -establishing key acquisition strategies and churn prevention initiatives.
You will work directly with the founders and tech team to shape our brand architecture and inspire consumers domestically, with the ambition to roll out our marketing endeavours globally.
Responsibilities:
● Understand and identify potential consumers by orienting the market - creating segmentation, targeting and positioning proposals to address the available market.
● Develop and establish our brand identity and brand values to create a clear brand proposition.
● Conceive and execute the marketing strategy for 2021 & 2022 and beyond. Implementing a marketing approach that delivers and exceeds our business KPIs.
● Develop and launch campaigns to support our new product developments launching in Q4 2021.
● Data obsession focussing on customer conversion and retention. Optimising web and app platforms to drive traffic and execute a strategy for converting sign ups to memberships, including creating referral and loyalty schemes.
● Measure and report on the success of our marketing efforts.
● Hire and manage multi-skilled members to expand your marketing team.
about you
● Goal orientated B2C marketeer, with experience in a customer centric marketing role.
● An exceptional innovator with a sharp creative eye.
● A highly skilled marketeer with the ability to deliver against our KPIs at both a brand level and a conversion & retention level.
● A pro-active, driven, entrepreneurial individual with a passion for startups, preferably in the tech/fitness industry.
● An incredible communicator, with strong people skills - comfortable presenting and pitching to business founders and other key stakeholders.
● Data and analytics obsessed, guided by insight, always delivering accountability and rationale for all marketing decisions.
● The ability to collaborate with both internal colleagues across varying disciplines and also various PR, marketing and creative agencies.
